Our services are funded through the ECO scheme, which obligates large energy companies to fund energy-saving improvements in qualifying homes. We do not charge customers for applications or surveys.
Eligibility for Government Grants
What are the main eligibility criteria for ECO4 funding?
You may qualify if:
- You own or privately rent your home.
- Your home has a poor energy efficiency rating (EPC D or below).
- You or someone in your household receives a qualifying benefit (e.g. Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Child Benefit with low income, etc.).
- You live in a low-income household (even if not receiving benefits) under certain conditions like LA Flex.
Can landlords apply for ECO funding?
Yes, landlords can apply if the tenant qualifies under the ECO scheme. The property must meet the necessary criteria, and the landlord must give permission for the installation.
What if I don’t receive any benefits, can I still qualify?

How do I apply?

What happens after I apply?
Once we receive your application:
1. We’ll assess your eligibility.
2. If you qualify, we’ll schedule a free, no-obligation home survey.

Will I need to provide documents?
Yes, we may require proof of benefits, ID, income, or property ownership to verify eligibility.
Installation and Work Standards
Who installs the equipment?
All installations are carried out by fully accredited engineers who are registered with appropriate bodies such as:
- Gas Safe (boilers)
- MCS (solar panels)
- BBA / CIGA (insulation)
How long does installation take?
Most installations are completed within a day, though some measures (like solar panels or multiple upgrades) may take longer. We aim for completion within 2–3 weeks from initial application.
Do I need to be home during the installation?
Yes, someone aged 18 or over must be present to allow access and approve the work. For rental properties, the tenant must be present.
Costs, Warranties and Guarantees
Is everything really free?
For eligible applicants, yes. If you qualify under the ECO4 scheme, the installation is fully funded. In some circumstances, a small contribution may be required, which will be clearly explained beforehand.
Are the products covered by a warranty?
Yes. All products and installations come with manufacturer and workmanship guarantees—typically ranging from 2 to 25 years, depending on the measure.
What if something goes wrong after the installation?
